The Model 2601C/S Hydrauflake Chunker is a frozen block flaker designed to chunk frozen, tempered or firm products in preparation for further processing. The following description pertains to frozen meat, but the HYDRAUFLAKER CHUNKER method applies also to poultry, vegetables, fish, fruit, etc.
The Model 2601C/S is safe and simple to operate:
- Frozen Blocks slide from the loading table into the feed zone.
- An Automatic ram feeds the frozen blocks to the cutting drum.
- A color coded push button station is located at the rear of the loading table. This station has on and off buttons, a feed start button, for the block feed, a batch button, that lets the operator stop and start the feed ram.
- The 2601C/S Chunker is safety engineered. Full enclosure block reduction protects operator and associated personnel. When opened, electrically activated safety switches over the cutting drum turns power off and stops the drum rotation. Front plate and rear swing guards at feed zone contain meat. A built in unitized discharge chute fits closely over 400 liter meat cart, and works
well with, suitable plant conveyors. Pneumatic and electric controls are overload protected.
- The 2601C/S is economical to maintain. Seamless welded stainless steel frame cleans quickly. The stainless steel disk drum is turned and mounted on self-aligning bearings, with remote lubrication. Stainless chunk blades are hardened for long life, and are easily accessible for cleaning. Drive train is overload protected, and totally enclosed for wash down.
- The Model 2601C/S is powered with a totally enclosed 10HP 230 or 460 volt,
60Hz 3 phase high powered synchromatic drive with HTD belt drive system. Other electrical specifications are available. Pneumatic ram requires 4CFM @ 80PSI. Machine dimensions are 94" (239cm) long x 47" (119cm) wide x 57" (145cm) high, with a load height of 42" (106.7cm)
- The 2601C/S is shipped ready to install and operate.
